TCC002 - Whole New WorldThe piercing light lasted a few moments, Carl’s body and bike engulfed in it as he held tightly to the handlebars. Just as suddenly as it had come, it vanished, the realisation that there was now something other than bright green light surrounding him causing him to brake hard and forcing him over the front of the handlebars and onto the ground as his bike toppled sideways. He lay motionless on the floor for a few moments, breathing heavily as he reached up and raised the visor of his helmet up and breathed the cold air.
